George & Jeydie
We know you are overwhelmed and have plenty of options when choosing the right adoptive parents, yet we are truly grateful that you are taking the time to view our profile. We want you to know that we are ready to offer your child a life full of love, compassion, stability, and laughter. Our commitment is to raise them knowing their worth and their story. We would be honored if you would consider us.
Our Promise to You

Our promise to you is that we will care for your child and love them with our whole hearts. We will give everything we can to your child and will make them part of our family, without letting them forget where they came from or who they are.
We will treat you with the utmost respect and care, and we understand the unbelievable sacrifice that you are making, and we will make sure that your child also appreciates the sacrifice you made, and that you did it because you care for them more than anything else in the world.
We will provide your child with the best of everything we can, including education, home environment, and life experiences. We will sacrifice anything for the sake of your child, and are ready to care and parent for them with our whole hearts.
And finally, we are so grateful to you!
We know this is hard for you, but rest assured, your child will have the best life possible that we can provide.
Our Passions

George and Jeydie both do improv at local Denver comedy theaters, and have even performed at a comedy festival in Omaha. It started as a small extra-curricular activity during Covid, and became a passion. George loves making people laugh, and believes in a life with laughter. He remembers how comedy has helped him get through the difficult times in life, and hopes he can do the same for others. George has also done some acting classes and hopes to continue pursuing it, and maybe one day be in a theater production.
Jeydie is passionate about writing. She has written an adventure novel that was recently self-published through Amazon this year "Remy Von Guesson and The Orisha" which was inspired by Indiana Jones with a Hispanic female lead character. She also writes horror short stories and has a popular podcast "Chillingly Bizarre" where she reads her stories along with sound effects and music.
Jeydie has started painting regularly, and hopes to get better at it. She hopes to get good enough to do some Bob Ross paintings. George has started a bit of an unusual hobby of taking apart broken electronics (usually from a thrift store or garage sale) and fixing them. He has repaired dead PlayStataions and Xboxes and Record Players.
Our Cultural Heritage

Jeydie was born in Puerto Rico and was raised in Miami, Florida. Her family is Puerto Rican on her mother’s and father’s sides. She still has relatives in Puerto Rico, and she tries to visit as often as she can.
Her upbringing was filled with Latin cuisine and Spanish idioms that taught lessons through laughter. Speaking Spanish is part of her identity, and it helps her bridge communication gaps at her workplace. Jeydie’s favorite thing about being Puerto Rican is the food and music.
It reminds her of watching her mother dance in her bedroom and then her father joining in mid-song. And how the smell of fried chicken, rice, and beans would fill up the house, and how everyone would come together in the dining room to eat.
George knows conversational Spanish, which he learned through Rosetta Stone software. Jeydie and George practice sometimes and often speak Spanglish when they get stuck on a word or phrase.

Our House and Neighborhood

Our house is a blue two story Victorian in a historic neighborhood near the center of Denver. There are 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms, and we enjoy cozying up together in the living room where we binge watch Netflix or play video games.
We have our own little back yard where we grow some berries and vegetables in the spring and build snowmen in the winter. During Christmas, we light up our front yard with decorations and put the jack o lantern out for Halloween.
It's a neighborhood with a quaint park and playground, a family recreational center, a library, and elementary school; all walking distance from our home. We live just a few miles south of Downtown Denver, the cultural center of our city. Within a few minutes we can be at the Denver Art Museum, The Convention Center (for our favorite yearly visit to the FanExpo), or the Denver Nature and Science Museum. We are close to the mountains and can get to hiking trails, like Red Rocks, in about a 10-minute drive.
We love our neighborhood because it is the best of both worlds. We live in a neighborhood that houses families with kids, and we also have the convenience of being near the city and all the amazing things Denver has to offer. The neighborhood is safe, and there are often school children riding scooters or playing basketball in the park.
Our Extended Families

This year we did a road trip from Denver to Miami to visit Jeydie's Family and to Detroit to visit George's family.
We went to Miami and got to spend time with Jeydie's parents. We drove so we got to take our dog Clovis with us for the long 3-day road trip and stayed with Jeydie's parents and their cats. Unfortunately, Jeydie's mom was in the hospital, but we got to go and comfort her, and we are happy to report that she is now feeling much better.

When Jeydie's mom got sick, we dropped everything so that we could drive to Miami and be with her and help out. We got to take her to the Morikami Japanese gardens after she got out of the hospital, and we got to catch up on watching some Bob Ross together.
We went to Detroit and got to visit George's extended family, his parents, his sister and nephews. Our dog got to play with the many dogs in the family. We catch up by going to Detroit hotspots like the Detroit History Museum or the record shop. Whenever we visit, we unwind by playing Jackbox Party games with George's Sister and Nephews.
From Us to You

We can only imagine the amount of courage it takes to make this choice; to consider your child’s future above all else. Typically, when people talk about courage, they use examples of soldiers, survivors, and athletes. Yet, we appreciate the immense courage it takes to choose a family for your own child. We admire you for choosing life and for considering an adoption plan. We understand that this is a confusing and difficult time, and we are here to answer any questions and provide support.
We deeply acknowledge that this choice is monumental. This choice is bigger than you, and it is bigger than us. It is a choice based on viewing a profile, it is a choice based on the love you have for your child, it is a choice based on an unknown future, and it is a choice based on a mutual understanding between you and us.
With that understanding in mind, we promise to give your child all the love and support they need and deserve. We promise a world for them where they are happy, thriving, and free to be fully themselves. We promise to keep you informed every step of the way through pictures, emails, and letters. When they take their first steps, when they start puberty, and when they graduate from high school.
We hope that after viewing our profile, you get a sense of who we are. Both of us want to share our lives with your child, we want to share all that we know and love. Your child would play in the park about a block from our home, read Little Bear (a book series that Jeydie grew up reading) between us in bed, play with our sweet dog (who loves to snuggle), go to the zoo or museum or local amusement park, watch cartoons with us, sing with us, laugh with us, and be loved by us.
We are honored and grateful for the consideration that you are giving us. Words are not adequate to express how big our hearts feel at the prospect of being parents to your child. With our full hearts, we go into the future, hand in hand with your child and an extended hand to yours. We will face the obstacle course of what life is with patience, compassion, and empathy.
From the time we first met each other over ten years ago, we have filled our home with respect, love, and commitment to each other. In our relationship, we have had our ups and downs, and these experiences have created resilience and growth in our lives. George has secured a career working from home as a software engineer, and Jeydie is a remote freelance content creator. Together, we can give your child the stability and care they need.
We would love to include your child in the world we have created, where they wouldn’t have to worry about the necessities of life, where they can reach out with any questions, and where they will know who they truly are – a cherished person in our eyes and yours.
