Craig & LeeAnn
Hello, and thank you for taking the time to get to know us. We've dreamed of sharing our lives, our laughter, and our hearts with a child, and we are ready to offer a home filled with warmth, stability, and unconditional love. We can only imagine the strength it takes to consider adoption, and we are truly honored that you are reading our story.
Our Love of Travel

We are fortunate to have the ability and desire to travel, and often to the same places we have been going since we were young. One is out west, primarily to go snow skiing, or any other kind of adventure.
Craig's mom's house is a favorite all year round since she is on a lake. We also enjoy going there because it is out in the country, surrounded by 150 acres of land that we can hunt and explore on.
We also enjoy LeeAnn's family lake house at Lake Burton, Georgia and her family condo in Ormond Beach, Florida. The condo in Ormond has been in LeeAnn's family since her parents were in high school and this was a place the entire extended family would visit for a couple of weeks each summer. The lake house at Lake Burton has been in the family since 1985. These are two very special places to LeeAnn and her family because of all of the fond memories created over the years.
We are so excited to share these places and experience with this child, continue to build on the memories we have and make new ones. We look forward to continuing to explore the world and showing all of the beauty it holds with this child.
Qualities We Admire in Each Other

LeeAnn About Craig: I admire Craig's devotion and love for family and friends. He loves deeply and unconditionally and would do anything for anyone. He is driven by serving others and being a person that offers help, which is why he is in the profession he is in. This can be anything from helping friends hang a swing set for our friend's kids or neighbors or offering to repair a roof or anything general contracting related when someone needs help. He is jovial, sincere, playful, and hardworking. I respect that Craig has strong values and is a family man with a strong drive to provide for his family. I also admire his patience, how he approaches taking the time to teach me and others, and appreciates his imperfections. He balances me. Craig is my soulmate, and that is something I knew at an early age. Life is better, and more fun, with Craig in it.
Craig About LeeAnn: I love the way LeeAnn keeps me on my toes. She is extremely witty and always ready to crack a joke, but she also keeps everything in order. LeeAnn is a planner and she's always ready for anything you throw at her. There isn't a mean bone in LeeAnn's body, and she treats everyone as though they were her best friend. LeeAnn is so nurturing and great with kids. You can tell she is a nurse without even seeing her in scrubs. She has the biggest heart of anyone I know. I truly admire the way LeeAnn cares for others. She puts everyone before herself. LeeAnn is smart, kind, loving, and most of all my best friend and the love of my life.
Our Pups, Lucy & Lorelai

We have two beloved goldendoodle dogs, Lucy (10 yrs) and Lorelai (4 yrs). LeeAnn had Lucy prior to marrying Craig, but they are both very well behaved, full of love and admiration, and playful. They give us a lot of entertainment because they have their own personalities and nuances. Lucy is Lorelai's protector and older sister. They do play keep away and tug together about every night. They also travel with us to all of our favorite vacation spots that we can drive to.
Lucy and Lorelai also love children and naturally gravitate towards them. For example, in the winter and our neighbors and kids are out playing in the snow, Lucy and Lorelai will run all over playing with the kids and making sure they are safe and look after them. They also do this when kids are swimming in the pool at St. Simon's and the lake.

Our House and Neighborhood

We live in a small community south of Nashville. Our county has an excellent school system and is highly sought after to move to. It is one of the reasons we chose to move to this area. Our county is rapidly expanding, investing in schools and the community.
We live in a newer, two-story brick home. There are 4 bedrooms, 3.5 bathrooms, an office, and a bonus playroom. Our favorite rooms are our patio and living room that is an open concept space. These are our favorite because we genuinely enjoy being with each other. This layout allows us to cook, hang out and watch television, or a movie, together. Our second favorite space is our back patio. It is completely screened in and has the most beautiful sunrises over the Tennessee mountains. We really enjoy sitting on our patio in fall and spring. We love to sit by our fire pit and enjoy the cool mornings and stars in the evenings.
There are children of all ages in our neighborhood, and they are always outside playing with each other. Every house on our street has a family with children, mostly younger children. Often our neighbors will be outside hanging out while the kids play, playing cornhole, and watching football. There are various events throughout the year like fireworks for the Fourth of July, summer kickoffs, Easter egg hunts, costume competitions for Halloween, and a turkey trot on Thanksgiving.
There are numerous walking parks and playgrounds in our area to choose from. There is a lot of green spaces in our neighborhood with a large creek that runs through part of it. We also have a few fishing ponds, a soccer field, a community garden, and a community pool open in the summer months. There is also a big rec center near us, as well as a soccer and baseball complex.
Our Extended Families

LeeAnn has one older brother, Ed, who she is very close to, and he is married to Kristi. They have three children (Will, Lukas, and Micah). We often go on vacation with them and their family and visit one another often. For example, each year we go skiing out west with LeeAnn's dad, Ed, Kristi and the kids. This year we went to Breckenridge and Vail, CO, New Orleans, LA, Lake Burton, GA, and St. Simons, GA with them this year. We travel a lot with them because we enjoy the same activities, and there are always a lot of laughs.

Craig was raised by two loving parents Lynn and Jerry Sr. He has an older brother, Jerry Jr., who is married to Courtney and they have two twin teenage girls, Hadley and Ellaree. Everyone in Craig's immediate family live close by in Tennessee and we are lucky enough to see them often. The rest of Craig's family is spread out over Florida, Georgia, Indiana, and North Carolina. We get to spend a lot of time with this part of our family, during 4th of July and Thanksgiving. Nothing better than cards, laughter, fireworks, family, good food, and fun!
Our immediate family is unique because we have known each other since the fourth grade, our older brothers are friends and played sports together, and our moms are friends. When we are together, we enjoy board games, cards, and puzzles together.
Both of our immediate and extended families are very supportive, and excited about our plan to adopt. They have a lot of love to give and cannot wait to meet the newest member of our family!
From Us to You

First, we want to thank you for taking the time to read our letter. We can only imagine the strength and love it takes to consider an adoption plan for this child. Please know that we deeply respect your courage and the care you are putting into making this decision. The choice you are considering is one of the most selfless acts we can imagine, and we hold that in the highest respect.
We are Craig and LeeAnn, a couple in our early 40s who have shared a life together built on love, laughter, and unwavering support. From the very beginning of our relationship, we dreamed of becoming parents. Life, however, had a different path for us, and while we were not able to have children, our hearts have never stopped longing for the chance to nurture and raise a child. That dream has only grown stronger with time.
Our home is filled with warmth and love. It's the kind of place where Sunday mornings mean pancakes in the kitchen, music playing softly in the background, and cozy evenings spent reading stories or watching family movies. We live in a safe, family-friendly neighborhood with parks, great schools, and neighbors who look out for one another. We've built a life that is stable and full of joy, and now we're ready to share it with a child.
We are both hardworking and dedicated, but family will always come first. We believe in creating a home where a child feels safe, cherished, and encouraged to dream big. Education, kindness, and curiosity are values we hold dear. We want to raise a child who knows they are deeply loved and supported in every step of their journey.
Our families and friends are overjoyed about our adoption journey. They can't wait to welcome a little one into the fold. Holidays in our family are magical-filled with traditions, laughter, and love. Your child would grow up surrounded by people who will celebrate their milestones, cheer them on, and love them unconditionally.
We also want you to know this: if you choose us, your child will always know their story and the incredible love that led to their adoption. We will speak of you with respect and gratitude, and we are open to staying connected in whatever way feels right for you-whether that's letters, photos, or visits. We believe a child can never have too much love, and we would be honored to include you in their life.
Thank you for considering us and for the love you are showing your child through this decision. If you choose us, we promise to give your child a life filled with laughter, learning, and endless love. We will cherish them every single day and give them the best of ourselves.
With heartfelt gratitude,
Craig & LeeAnn
