Kelby & Tracy
Hello! We are Midwesterners with two dogs who love to travel and enjoy the best of both worlds-community, great schools in the city, and adventure at the lake cabin. It's a safe, happy place where kids can be kids. We respect the importance of a birth parents decision and are open to sharing letters, pictures, and visits as feels right. We are excited to adopt and grow our family, sharing love, adventure, and the stability we've built.
Type of Education We Will Provide

Education and support are important values in our family. One of the ways we plan to nurture our child is by creating a special bedtime routine filled with love and connection. Every night, we look forward to snuggling together, reading books, and enjoying quiet moments before tucking them into bed. These bedtime rituals will not only create a love for reading but also create memories of feeling safe, supported, and loved.
We are excited to support our child through every stage of their education, from helping with homework and attending classroom activities, to cheering them on at school concerts, plays, and events. We believe in providing opportunities for our child to explore their interests, including encouraging a love for music if they wish to learn an instrument or play a sport.
As they grow, we will fully support their decisions regarding what they choose to study and pursue. When the time comes, we are committed to helping them explore all their options for college, if that is the path they want to take.
Most of all, we want our child to know they will always be supported, encouraged, and celebrated for who they are and the dreams they follow.
Qualities We Love, Admire and Respect in Each Other

Tracy About Kelby: We cherish the qualities we see in each other and the strong foundation they have built in our relationship. Kelby has a gift for keeping me grounded in the present moment, reminding me to slow down and truly enjoy life. His down-to-earth nature, understanding heart, and non-judgmental attitude create a space where I feel completely comfortable and loved for who I am. I admire how he makes time for his hobbies, setting an example of balancing responsibility with fun. Kelby's patience, forgiveness, and the way he connects so naturally with children—especially being the favorite at family gatherings—show me every day what a wonderful father he will be.
Kelby About Tracy: I admire that Tracy is always there to support me; she believes in me and is always in my corner. She is a role model for others, leading by example and inspiring those around her with her motivation to continually better herself. Tracy helps me stay organized and focused on our responsibilities. She thinks ahead and helps us plan for our future goals. Tracy has a calming presence, which helps people feel comfortable opening up to her, making it easy to talk to her and feel heard. She brings a sense of fun and laughter to everything we do together. Tracy is always a source of comfort, and I know she will give our child the same unconditional love, attention, and gentle guidance she gives to everyone she cares about. Together, we're committed to creating a warm, supportive, and joyful home.
Our Pups, Dakoda & Cooper

We have 2 dogs; Dakoda who is a Chocolate Lab and Cooper who is a Golden Retriever. They both have their own unique personalities. Dakoda is more playful and won't let you forget when her supper time is. Cooper enjoys a slower pace of life cuddling with his stuffed animals (which he sleeps with every night) and watching our neighborhood through the upstairs window. Our pets also help us stay active and enjoy the outdoors. One of their favorite activities, besides eating treats, is jumping off the dock and swimming at the lake. Inside the house, they love to snuggle up by your side and cuddle whenever possible. They are a constant source of companionship and happiness.
We're always finding new ways to keep them engaged, whether it's through fun toys, puzzles, or other enrichment activities. They remind us to slow down and enjoy simple moments and they will be wonderful companions to a child, offering the same loyalty, warmth, and affection they've always given to us.

Our House and Neighborhood

We live in a mid-sized city in North Dakota near the Minnesota border that combines small-town charm, urban amenities, and a wide variety of cultural, recreational, and family-centered experiences.
Our neighborhood is a quiet cul-de-sac filled with families and young children. The low traffic makes it a safe and fun place where kids ride bikes, play basketball, and enjoy time outdoors. Our home has four bedrooms, 2.5 bathrooms, and a fenced-in backyard where we can see the high school football games. A favorite spot is our dining room table—a treasured piece passed down from Tracy's grandparents. Tracy grew up spending countless hours at that table playing cards, board games, and sharing meals with cousins, aunts, uncles, and grandparents. It holds years of laughter, connection, and love. Now, it's the center of our home where we eat dinner together each night and enjoy Kelby's big homemade breakfasts on weekends.
Our city offers so much for kids—zoos, trampoline parks, playgrounds, libraries, swimming pools, indoor rock climbing, arcades, and youth sports and art programs. We especially love the many kid-centered annual events like the Teddy Bear Parade, Frostival with cardboard sled races and skating, youth fishing days, and the Butterfly Ball—a magical evening where children dress up and attend with a special adult. This is a community where children are celebrated, supported, and surrounded by opportunities to learn, grow, and thrive year-round.
Our Extended Families

We are incredibly fortunate to be surrounded by a supportive and loving circle of family. Most of our families live in our town—no one is more than an hour away. This means frequent get-togethers, especially during the holidays, filled with laughter, traditions, and fun.

One of our favorite places to be is at the lake, where we spend most summer weekends. We water ski, jet ski, tube, swim, kayak, canoe, boat, and relax in the hammock with a good book. Tracy's grandparents built the cabin themselves, and her family has spent generations growing up there—learning to swim and water ski, then teaching the next generation. Every 4th of July, we host a big family celebration with yard games, a boat parade, and a water fight that's become legendary—people start planning their "attack" weeks in advance! The night ends with a fireworks show over the lake.
Holidays are full of energy and tradition. Tracy's mom plans fast-paced Christmas games that get everyone laughing and cheering. Even the dogs get in on the fun during Easter with their own egg hunt! We also love fall—pumpkin carving, haunted houses, baking treats, and handing out candy on Halloween.
Travel is something we've always enjoyed—both around the U.S. and internationally. We were married in Wales and look forward to exploring the world as a family.
Our entire family is thrilled for us to welcome a child, we can't wait to pass on these traditions and build new ones together.
From Us to You

Considering adoption for your child is one of the most important, brave, and selfless decisions a person can make. We respect the strength it takes to consider this path, and we are honored to be considered as potential adoptive parents. We want to share with you who we are, the values that guide our lives, and why we know we can provide a fun, loving, and safe home for your child.
We are Tracy and Kelby—a committed couple who complement each other in the best way. We've been together for five years and married for nearly three. Our relationship is built on love, trust, and shared purpose. We come from families that value connection and support, and family plays a central role in our lives. We spend time with our loved ones often and gather together for every holiday. Whether it's cooking a big meal together, playing games, or summers at the lake cabin, these traditions are an important part of our lives. We're also excited to travel as a family, seeing new places, experiencing different cultures, and exploring everything the world has to offer. After years of dreaming about growing our family, we know in our hearts that adoption is the right path for us.
We have a stable home filled with love, laughter, and room to grow. Both of us have steady careers that reflect the values we live by every day. We work in fields that focus on helping others through difficult times—Kelby supports and cares for individuals in challenging situations with empathy and kindness, while Tracy works directly with children who are struggling and advocates to help them thrive. Our jobs aren't just work to us—they reflect our passion for caring, supporting, and making a difference. We are financially prepared to support a child's needs, now and into the future, and we are committed to providing a life of stability, opportunity, and unconditional love.
As individuals, we each bring unique strengths that we believe make us well-suited to be parents. Tracy is organized, dedicated, and sees the bigger picture. She's a planner who creates a life full of stability, opportunity, and happiness. Goofy and full of fun, she brings laughter to everyday moments. Kelby is kind, empathetic, and dependable. He has a calm and steady presence, and kids love to be around him because of his gentle nature and playful spirit.
We look forward to supporting a child's education, cheering them on at sports games or music recitals, and nurturing whatever passions they pursue. We plan to have regular "mommy & child" and "daddy & child" dates, along with fun family outings to create meaningful one-on-one memories. After school, we'll be the parents who pick them up with a snack in hand, sit next to them to help with homework, enjoy dinner together as a family, and snuggle up for a bedtime routine of books and hugs. We want them to go to sleep each night feeling safe, loved, and excited for the next day.
Our goal is to provide a safe, encouraging environment where a child can explore, express themselves freely, and be proud of who they are and the path that brought them into the world. We believe in setting healthy boundaries, celebrating successes big and small, and modeling compassion in our everyday actions. We'll be sure to send you letters, updates, and pictures. If you're open to it, we would welcome an ongoing relationship that keeps you involved in your child's life in a way that feels right for everyone.
To the loving and courageous person or people making this difficult decision: we want you to know that we see you. We admire your strength and the deep love you have for your child. If you choose us, we promise to honor that love for a lifetime. We are ready to walk this journey with deep respect and lasting commitment, and we would be honored to become part of your child's story.
With gratitude,
Kelby & Tracy
